Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers comprehensive, evidence-based care across acute and ambulatory settings. You will synthesize assessments, clinical judgment, and patient goals to implement and evaluate interventions that elevate safety, comfort, and recovery. Success requires calm prioritization in fast-paced environments, compassionate communication, and continuous improvement mindset.

Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights, weekends, holidays). Employment Type: Full-time, permanent. Locations: Miami, FL (primary); Malvern, PA (additional).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct care delivery: Perform head-to-toe assessments, administer/titrate medications, monitor telemetry, and respond to status changes using established escalation pathways.
  • Plan & adapt care: Build interdisciplinary care plans aligned to physician orders, diagnostics, and patient preferences; adjust goals based on clinical response and discharge readiness indicators.
  • Education & transitions: Translate complex information into clear guidance on medications, wound care, mobility, and follow-ups; verify teach-back, coordinate resources to minimize readmissions.
  • Documentation accuracy: Capture assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR; close documentation gaps at handoff; use clinical decision support and order sets.
  • Safety & quality: Maintain sterile technique and isolation precautions; participate in fall-prevention rounding, med reconciliation, and barcode scanning compliance; report incidents/near-misses for RCA.
  • Team effectiveness: Join unit huddles, mock codes, and skills validations; precept new staff; provide feedback to optimize workflows and patient experience.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure & education: Active RN license; ADN or BSN required (BSN preferred). Multi-state eligibility/specialty certification a plus.
  • Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; PALS/NIHSS advantageous for high-acuity care.
  • Experience: 1+ year recent hospital or ambulatory experience; proven ability to manage multiple patients and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Technical: Proficiency with major EMRs, smart pumps, bedside diagnostics; comfort with evidence-based protocols and pathways.

Compensation: $70,000–$95,000 annually based on experience and location; eligible for shift differentials/premium pay.
